The terms, in plain words.
What you can expect from Pratiora, what we expect from you, and the limits of an AI that tells you the truth.

You own your words
Your story stays yours. We only use it to answer you.
Not therapy
Pratiora is not medical or mental health care, and not a crisis service.
Honest, not certain
Answers can be wrong. Every claim is labeled so you can judge it.

Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Pratiora. By creating an account or using Pratiora, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use Pratiora
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity on your account.
What Pratiora is, and isn't
Pratiora helps you understand a breakup. You tell it what happened and ask your questions. Your free questions show what the evidence in your story says. The Closure Pass adds the pattern behind each answer, a timeline, a contradiction map, a closure summary, and a report you can keep. Your clarity score is counted from your own story, and the app shows how.
- It is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice, and it doesn't diagnose anything.
- It is not a crisis service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services. See Safety and crisis support.
- It is not your ex. It never pretends to be them or to know what they truly thought or felt.
- It is not legal advice about separation, divorce, custody, or any dispute.
AI answers have limits
Answers are generated by AI from what you share. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are only as good as the story you tell. That's why every claim is labeled Evidence, Inference, or Unknown.
Use your own judgement. Don't rely on Pratiora for decisions about your health, safety, legal matters, or money, and don't use it to contact, monitor, or confront another person.
Your content
You own everything you write in Pratiora. You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account.
You confirm that you have the right to share what you write. Please share only what you need about other people, and never share someone else's private messages in a way that breaks the law where you live.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Pratiora to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm anyone, including your former partner;
- share content that is illegal, or that sexualizes minors in any way;
- upload intimate images of anyone, or screenshots of conversations you weren't part of;
- try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or get around the free-question limit;
- use Pratiora to build a competing product or to train AI models;
- pretend to be someone else, or share your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Free questions, the Closure Pass, payment and refunds
Each person gets 5 free questions, once. No card is needed. They belong to the person, not the account: a new account, a second email alias, or deleting and re-creating an account doesn't give them again. You can buy the Closure Pass at any time, before or after your free questions, for a one-time price (currently $29 USD), shown before you pay. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
The Closure Pass lasts until your clarity score reaches 100%. Then it ends, because the job is done. If you want to use Pratiora again later, you can buy a new pass, which starts a new chapter. Questions with the pass are unlimited under fair use (currently up to 60 a day), so the service stays fast for everyone.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record: it processes the order, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and sends your receipt. We never see your full card number.
Refunds: if Pratiora isn't helping, email privacy@pratiora.com within 14 days of payment and we'll refund you in full. If you were charged twice by mistake, we refund the duplicate. A full refund ends the pass. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Leaving and deleting your account
You can stop using Pratiora at any time. “Delete all data” in your profile permanently erases your content, clarity, story map, and account. Pratiora is built to be left: reaching 100% clarity and walking away is the point.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may improve or change Pratiora over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you before the change takes effect. If you keep using Pratiora after that, the new terms apply.
Disclaimers and liability
Pratiora is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every need.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to Pratiora is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing removes rights you have as a consumer.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at privacy@pratiora.com. Most problems can be solved quickly. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
